The Ristorante L’Approdo in Minusio is a public exercise wanted by the local town hall to complete the beautiful area of the Municipal port at the end of the wonderful Rivapiana promenade.
Since 2012, Monica Poroli & Luciano Badini have take this new professional challenge with great enthusiasm.
Co-managers since 1984 – with the guidance of the Locarno Campeggio Delta – they continue to work as hosts with great passion. The same passion that was handed down to Monica from her father Carlo Poroli, and that now she herself is sharing with her daughter Giovanna.
Luciano comes instead from the Hotel School of Stresa, and after years of experience in the world, he has chosen Ticino to made his dreams come true.

We always strive to make you feel welcome. In choosing our employees, a big smile, cordiality and making our clients feel at ease is of upmost importance.
Our main chef is Stefano Ferola from the Valtellina valley, who can boast years of experience in St Moritz and Ascona.
Our specialties are varied: from fried lake fish to game and Rösti evenings. We also offer daily business lunches during the week.

Since 2012 we have been visiting the restaurant many times ourselves and also with guests. We enjoyed it each time: the food is always fresh and tasty (excellent fresh fish and meat), the service-team and the manager Monica Poroli are very friendly and welcoming even when the restaurant is fully booked and the staff busy serving guests. The nice environment directly at the see is enjoyable: summarised the overall price-quality is great and we recommend all to visit the restaurant, you will not regret.
